Lets just pretend its not yet Christmas and I am not like super dooper behind in the fascinating story of my life.
Lindsay and I had been home 3 days and were feeling a little kooky from the jet-lag. We were lucky enough to be housesitting in a lovely big house for a friend of my [...]

Happy Father’s Day Dad!
Today is father’s day. I wish I was at home so I could give Dad a big hug and tell him how much I love him. But alas I am in Holland, his home country.
I have been sitting here for hours trying to think of something to write, but no words can describe how lucky [...]
Scheveningen
Scheveningen, the Gold Coast of the Netherlands. The first time we went there Lindsay and I walked there, it took us about 6 hours because we went via Madurodam…so it actually took us about an hour.
My first impression of Scheveningen was “this is a beach?”

Jacob then introduced us as Julia and Lindsay Holmwood (I think thats what he said)
My second cousin Hallie blew bubbles for us as we walked into the marquee.
Considering that Lindsay [...]
Photos
We headed off into the shade for some family and bridal party photos.
We rounded up the different family groups, then let them return to the other guests to enjoy the champagne and canapés.
A kind waiter brought some food down to us, we were expecting bread and dips but got all these amazing different finger foods [...]
The Ceremony
The Ceremony
I made it to the end of the alive without disappearing into a giant puddle of mud (like in The Vicar of Dibly). Our celebrant, Gail, greeted me and showed me where to stand because I was in the middle of the aisle looking rather lost.
She started her introduction while Lindsay and I whispered [...]
