The day after we went to Maastrict it was Mother’s day! Mick made croissants and boiled eggs, while Vince set the table. I assisted by knocking a wine glass over with my elbow and smashing it into a million pieces. We had lots of yummy food to celebrate Mother’s day, my favourite was strawberries on [...]
Poll: Should Lindsay blog about Barcelona
While I spent the week in Nijmegan, Lindsay went to Barcelona for EURUKO, a ruby conference. He had a few days before and after the conference to do some sight seeing. I have asked him to do a ‘guest’ blog but so far hasn’t had time. Maybe if he sees that lots of people want [...]
Nijmegan
Elke drove and I directed (not really) to Eindhoven airport to drop Lindsay off. While waiting for Lindsay’s flight we sampled some Australian icecream (the brand is called Australian icecream!)
There are were some side effects, words such as Sheila, galah, streuth and ‘aussie aussie aussie, oi oi oi’ were unavoidable. There were some strange occurances…but [...]

We arrived off the plan at Amsterdam airport, bought some tickets to Oss to head to our first set of family. We worked out which train we [...]

Loch Ness!
It was quite hazy so we could only just see Nessie swimming around in the mist…
The previous night the boys had [...]

So we booked ourselves a spot on the Macbackpackers Highlands tour. It was awesome. The end.
Ok, ok I shall show you what we did and saw…we didn’t take many photos though, only 4GB worth [...]
10 days into our 4 day trip to Scotland.
Some things before I launch into my very overdue blog:
-Hello to everyone who reads this blog! I thought the number of people reading my blog equaled 4, 1 of whom is Lindsay who I hired (forced) to be the editor. But Alas! I have many readers! How exciting. And a little birdy (well really my [...]
Wee trip into the Highlands
Marlene and David had a full and exciting day planned for us! We hoppped into the car and first drove to the beautiful house from the 1800s which they are doing up and plan to move into in May. It is so huge and will look amazing when its finished. The exterior is beautiful [...]
