Madurodam

I am a terrible blogger, I am going to blogger hell. I am about 4 weeks behind in my blogging. And everyday something else exciting happens which I need to blog about.

So I have made my confession, said 5 x Hail Marys, 2 x Lords Prayer and 100 x **** I need to blog.

On one of our days in Den Haag we decided to see as much of Holland as we could in 1 day. It was going to be a challenge but we were ready for it.

Here are some of the places we saw:

The airport
KLM

a cheese market

Then we went to Kermis (a carnival)

we crossed a bridge

….

actually we went to Madurodam, a miniature Holland.

Why are there 3 of these photos

Famous buildings and landmarks in miniature. There are Churches, Cathedrals, house, theaters, Carnivals with mini trains, boats, cars and planes zipping around the place.

One exhibit you put 1 Euro in the machine and out drives a little truck with a mini mars bar!

and on another we got a pair of mini souvenir clogs!

It was such a beautiful day, we spent about 3 hours walking around
Madurodam

We had a break to eat our packed lunch and as a treat we bought some Sisi…

*loud scary music*
As just as we were packing up a GIANT MUTANT SEAGULL LANDED ON THE TABLE NEXT TO US!
Giant Mutant Seagull!

The seagulls over here are nuts! they are everywhere and massive and loud.

Once we had finished posing in front of a few choice miniatures
Cruising

we hopped in our clogs and drove off!

Does it come in a smaller size?
