We headed off into the shade for some family and bridal party photos.
We rounded up the different family groups, then let them return to the other guests to enjoy the champagne and canapés.
A kind waiter brought some food down to us, we were expecting bread and dips but got all these amazing different finger foods all which looked yummy! Cassi the wedding planner came with some bottles of water which were very well received by the bridal party.
We had photos with both sets of parents,

Then we rounded up the flower girls and page boy who had disappeared into the marquee and had our bridal party shots.
then it was girls only
grown up girls only
Then me and the boys
Then Lindsay and I had some photos taken of just the two of us.
I have noticed a trend in our professional photos, each kiss photo is followed by us laughing or me pulling a face!
exhibit A:
How awesome if this photo? Peter Spencer rocks!

I love this photo also, it shows how very much in love we are, the colours in the photo are so vintage-ey!

This is our ’sad face, no one came to our wedding’ photo. It was my idea, and yet I had such a hard time trying to pull a sad face. Carmel the lovely videographer was laughing so hard I think I almost hurt myself trying not to set off into a fit of manic giggles.

The funny thing is, to take this photo we had to tell the bridal party to get off the chairs so it looked like no one had come, they were so happy to stand up again after standing all afternoon!
Katherine the flower girl earning her keep.

We normally walk around in public like this, don’t be surprised to see us walking through Westfield Hornsby one afternoon off to see a movie, buy a pair of joggers, find a new game for the wii/xbox/computer/DS.

I am quite partial to this photo too, things to notice:
1. Matt reaching out to hold Little Katherine’s Hand, I think my little flower girl may have Matt by the heart strings.
2. Big Katherine is holding her dress up rather high, always the lady!
3. me bossing Lindsay around 30 minutes into our marriage
4. My very handsome brother and David doing a gesture from football?? Apparently means goal? tri? something about a ball? kicking? grass? I dunno but its rather cute.

Lindsay and I then were encouraged, prompted and guided through ankle deep mud by the awesome Peter Spencer to get my favourite photo:
And then it was time for our grand entrance and the beginning of the Reception!
